White on White

The latest trend of white top and white white bottoms has really started to grown on me. When I first noticed the trend coming out, I wasn't too keen it was all a bit too much for me. However, recently I've seen some lovely white on white outfits put together. First person who inspired me into loving the trend was Ciara, she's been looking absolutely gorgeous recently and I've totally fallen in love with her latest song Body Party. Here are a few snaps taken from her Instagram of her rocking the trend.

I think Ciara really rocked the white on white great, love the way she incorporated the shirt and jumper look which is one of my favourite looks.

Recently I've been catching up with Kourtney and Kim take Miami (all about my reality TV shows lol) and I saw Kim put together this really nice white on white outfit and this is where I finally thought YES I need to try this trend myself. So right now, I'm going to be on the hunt for my perfect white on white outfit. Hopefully I'm able to find one and put it all together.

What do you think of the white on white trend?

Woah There ...

... Blog world its been a while since I last posted. I really thought I would post so much more when I was in University but unfortunately that didn't happen and I kind of lost my mojo. My first year in University is now over it went so fast can't believe it's over already but hopefully now that I'm home for three months I'll get my blogging mojo back!

My 2012 Favourites

Happy New Year everyone, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas (to those who celebrate it) and a good New Years! The year went by so fast, hopefully 2013 will slow down a little bit. Since 2012 is over I thought I'd do a post on all my favourite items from that year which I'm sure will follow me unto this year lol. I left my camera at University and tried to take pictures of the items on my phone but that didn't go too well. So hopefully I'll be able to get images from google or post the pictures up when I get back to Uni, so here goes:

1. TOPSHOP VECTRAS
I lived in these shoes once I got them, they literally go with everything and are so comfortable to walk in! You've just got to make sure you don't scratch your ankles with the studs which I have done on many occasions *sigh* lol.

2. TOPSHOP PARKA JACKET
This wasn't the warmest jacket for the winter but I couldn't help wearing it and braving the freezing cold! It was so easy to throw on in the mornings before Uni and goes with a lot of the things in my wardrobe, it's also great for layering.

3. TOPSHOP LEATHER JACKET
I got this at the beginning of 2012 and once I got it I couldn't leave it alone. It's a leather jacket which looks great to dress up with a pair of heels but also looks great casual, I think they still sell it now and I would definitely recommend it.

4. VINTAGE LEVI SHORTS
These shorts are a life saver for when you don't know what to wear, I would say these are my 'go-to' shorts. They look good with a checkered shirt, crop top, jumper or a plain old t-shirt, I think this is why I love them so much because they go with everything.

5. NIKE BLAZERS
I really do like Nike Blazers I feel they are just as versatile as Vans or Converse. You can switch it up with a skirt or  a pair of jeans, they also very comfortable!

6. BEANIE HATS
Beanie hats were such life savers for me this year especially when I was having a bad hair day, they were also very convenient on keeping my ears and head warm during the colder months.

7. ZARA CHAIN BAG
Love this chain bag, its great for a casual day out but also perfect for a night out whereby you can make it into a clutch bag and carry all your necessities for your night out.

8. ZARA BOX BAG
This is definitely my 'go-to' bag, its a great size and can be held on the shoulder with its strap or held by the handles. Its also great for jazzing up a plain outfit.

9. NEUTROGENA BLACKHEAD ELIMINATING SCRUB
I don't have a lot of spots but every now and again I'll gain the odd spot and sometimes they leave a blackhead behind. So I thought I'd try out this blackhead eliminating scrub and its great I really do like it, its reducing the visibility of the blackhead mark and makes your face feel so soft after using it!

9. MAC FACE AND BODY FOUNDATION
Face and body has got to be my favourite MAC foundation, I first purchased Studio Fix fluid and felt it was to heavy on my face so I switched to face and body and I'm so glad I did. I don't wear make-up on a daily basis and when I do I don't like my face to look 'cakey' and this definitely is a great foundation for this. I recommend this to anyone who likes a sheer foundation with quite light coverage!

10. LA COLOURS NAIL VARNISH
LA colours is a nail varnish brand me and my friend found whilst shopping in Westfield in a shop called Beauty Base. When we first saw the price and range of colours they had we couldn't believe our eyes lol! Every colour you could possibly want for £1, it doesn't last extremely long but for what its worth it does a pretty good job.

What are your favourite items from 2012?

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Christmas Wish List

Woah there blog world its been a while. I thought I'd have time to blog at University but unfortunately that didn't happen. It always seemed as if there was't enough hours in the day at University, am I the only one who feels like that lol? At the moment I'm on Christmas break, yey! So I know I'll be at home with a lot more free time and I'll be able to get my blogging mojo back. So I thought I'd get in the festive mood and start with a Christmas wish list.

1. Yves Saint Laurent Manifesto Perfume

So I was out in town with my friend and we popped into Debenhams and we walked past the YSL counter so thought why not test out their perfume, I tried Manifesto and I fell in love! It smells so nice and last so long, love love love it. This is definitely a major want under the Christmas tree!

2. Coats (River Island and Topshop)

Winter has arrived and its absolutely freezing, the jackets I have got are so useless lol. So I thought it would be great for me to add a coat or coats should I say lol, unto the list which would actually keep me warm. I love the leather sleeved one from River Island mixed with the cotton I think it looks good together and it reminded me a lot of the one I saw in Zara which was a little more expensive. The second coat from Topshop grabbed my attention with the faux fur, it looks so nice and made my neck feel so warm. It may not be to everyone's taste from the photo but it looks so much better on!

3. Laptop

I don't even want to get started on how awful my laptop has become, I am in serious need of a new one! Just a decent laptop that wont crash on me during crucial times and I'll be happy lol!

These are the top 3 items I want for Christmas, what would everyone else like?

University!

I've been so bad with blogging recently but it is something which I enjoy doing so I'm going to try my best to get back on track! As the title states this post is going to be about university. I have just started my first year at university, I've been here for nearly a month and finally made my uni room into my own. So I thought I would give my fellow blog readers a sneak peak into my university room, its very minimalistic which I love. I went with the colours I love for interior black and white so here are the photos, enjoy!

I think I've found my new Girl Crush!

Wow its been a while since I last put a blog post up! But the title of this post says it all I've found a new girl crush and style inspiration. Want to know who it is? *drum roll please* ADRIENNE BAILON! Some of you may be sitting there like 'huh who is she?' But she's the beautiful Adrienne who started in Cheetah Girls 1, 2 & 3, dated Rob Kardashian, was in the band 3LW and now stars a reality TV show called 'Empire Girls' with one of her closest friends Julisia, whilst trying to get her music career on the go. I've always thought she was beautiful but since watching her new reality TV show I've fallen in love with her style. So I've added some pictures below of outfits that I've really liked. (So hard to find pictures of her style on google!)

Below I've taken a couple of her pictures from instagram because I think they show her style so much more!

I think Adrienne's style can be 'ghetto fabulous' and edgy but she always knows how to class up her outfits and make herself look elegant. I love the way her style is versatile and the way she's not afraid to go out there and try new things. The pictures don't show her many lovely outfits I've seen whilst watching Empire Girls but if you do you'll know why her love her style so much, however it may not be to everyone's taste! I don't think I could pull of everything she puts together but I think I can take ideas and inspiration from her and incorporate it into my own style.

Do any of you watch Empire Girls and what do you think of her style?

Back To School!

As we all know summer is drawing to an end and school/sixth form/university is around the corner. I'm sure many people will be looking for new clothes to buy for sixth form and university and the same applies for those who go to non-uniform secondary schools. Lets not forget all the essentials such as stationary, new books etc, but I'm sure most of us care for the clothes most! So I thought I'd create a post on outfits that could be worn to lectures and lesson, which can be casual, comfortable and trendy for all those draining hours of learning.

1. I think this outfit is really causal and would be really comfortable. I love the parka jacket which I feel kind of makes the outfit stand out because its not the usual parka jacket as it has the leather sleeves. The Nike Blazer completes the casual feel to this outfit, I'm a sucker for Nike Blazers, Converse and Vans when it comes to sixth form and now will be University because they are just to comfortable for the walking about you have to do during the day.

2. This another outfit which would allow you to feel comfortable during the day.  I really like coloured jeans especially pastel coloured ones, I think they would still look on trend for September and October. I will probably still wear them past these months they're just so cute and add a pop of colour to your outfit! These mint green ones also look really nice with the studded grey jumper and white Vans, which will once again allow your feet to stay in comfort.

3. The classic white shirt, it is such a great piece to have in your wardrobe! This look would allow you to get dressed up for school, sixth form or University with out going over board. The heeled Chelsea boots look great with the black jeans and white shirt, however if your not one who's good with heels this may start to hurt your feet after a couple of hours! If you want to you could remove the collar studs and add a gold collar necklace instead for  a bit of shazam lol.

4. I love leather jackets I practically live in mine, I feel like it goes with everything. This outfit is quite girlie with the dress but makes it edgy again with the leather jacket. To bring it down into a casual look you could just add a pair of converse. I also love that the dress is longer at the back and shorter at the front, such a cute that style for skirts and dresses.

What is your favourite look and what do you tend to wear to school, sixth form or University?
